Enabling Location-independent Monitoring for the Elderly

EcoNaviSta has developed Life Rhythm Navi+Doctor, a monitoring system that doesn’t detect incidents after they happen, but which can communicate signs of impending problems before they occur so they can be prevented. The system monitors aspects of the subject’s everyday life, like how many times they use the bathroom, and compares the data with that from a month or two prior and then provides notification if there is a change. Detecting abnormalities in advance can help prevent abnormal behavior like wandering around at night.
