非常に強い寒気の影響で日本海側を中心に大雪となっています。
新潟県南魚沼市では先が見えないほどの雪が降り続いています。
急速に発達した低気圧の影響で強い冬型の気圧配置となり、日本海側では九州から北海道の広い範囲で断続的に雪が降っています。
この後も北陸を中心に雪が強まり、あすの朝までに多いところで120センチの雪が降る予想です。
