【Outline】
A nominee for the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize were young protesters in Hong Kong. One of them, a woman have been called a goddess. Her name is Agnes Chow Ting. This documentary(2017) showed her life. Born December 1996, the year Hong Kong was returned back to China from the UK, Agnes was an ordinary person, interested in Japanese animation and pop groups like other Hong Kong youth. But she’s also one of the student leaders of the democratic “Umbrella Movement” in Hong Kong in 2014. You will see that as Agnes continues her participation in it, she faces immense pressure and repeated set backs, but still fights in hopes to overcome a powerful opposing force that’s preventing Hong Kong's right to vote. Watch her story and thoughts on how she spent her precious youth fighting for democracy in Hong Kong.
