We took a ride on the famous Iyonada Monogatari train that travels through Shikoku from Matsuyama to Yawatahama! Having the kind locals welcome us with handmade signs throughout the trip was so touching♡

There are limited seats available. You can make reservations in advance at JR Station Green Window Ticket Counters and travel centers around Japan.
There are bento meals also available for reservation, however they won't make any adjustments to the meal so if you are unable to eat what is on the menu I recommend eating before hand.
