This is TAKASAGO TENSO

This is just a local small unpopular unknown shrine that I happened to pass by one day on the train.
It seemed to be out of use. Nobody was there. The places where you wash your hands were all covered. The doors were locked, gates were locked.

I looked on the internet and it turns out, they have a festival once a year in October....so its not all forgotten.

They also still take donations.

This building was built in 1830s, but there was an original building here in the middle ages. Some of the old stones in this video are from the middle ages and older than the actual building itself.

This is located near KEISEITAKASAGO Station.
The name is TAKASAGO TENSO (高砂天祖神社)
