H3ロケット/試験機の打上げを目指して

2014年4月のH3プロジェクト始動から6年の月日が流れ、
いよいよ試験機1号機の打ち上げが予定されている2020年度を迎えました。

H3ロケット開発は、これまで経験のない新しい技術へのチャレンジと、
これまでのロケット開発で十分実績があり成熟した技術を組み合わせて、
ロケットと設備をフルモデルチェンジするつもりで取り組んでいます。
このため、思ったように行かなくて立ち止まったり、戻ったりすることを
幾度となく経験しました。

そして今、高いハードルを越えた要素がひとつずつ完成し、
システムとして統合されつつあります。

本映像では、これまでにH3ロケット開発でおこなわれたいくつかの試験をダイジェストでご紹介します。


"Test as You Fly, Fly as You Test" for New Japanese Launch Vehicle H3 -Gearing up for the maiden flight of the H3 Launch Vehicle-

The H3 project, started in April 2014, has finally entered the new fiscal year 2020, the critical year for launching the first H3 Launch Vehicle.
The H3 Launch Vehicle has been developed by combining new challenging technologies with Japan's proven rocket technology accumulated through the decades-long development and operation.
We worked hard to bring about innovative features in the launch vehicle and its ground facilities, so we sometimes came to a standstill or suffered a setback. Having overcome many obstacles, we are just about to integrate all elements into this single system.
