(字幕あり) Fox village (kitsune mura) is a place in Miyagi Japan, 20 min taxi ride from shiroishi station. There are over 100 foxes running around. You can't touch them though.
I think its a fun place if you want to take pictures of foxes. But don't come here to expect much of a play with the fox experience. When I got in they told me its against the rules to pet the foxes. I was kinda disapointed because I thought I would roll on the ground as foxes covered me as Rabbit island was.
There was a bad smell and the poster on the wall said the smell is not the foxes, but a nearby pig farm...well there is a pig farm...13 mins away....but certianly you couldnt smell anything outside of kitsune mura front gate....so I have a hard time beleaving that smell is from the pigs...
If you come here, note that its not as fun as it looks. Its nice to take pictures. but this is one trip I didnt feel satisfied with at all actually.
