In response to the economic and demographic challenges facing rural communities throughout Japan, entrepreneurial leaders in Japan have responded with bold thinking and innovative solutions, including incubating entrepreneurial opportunities that harness local resources in new ways, bridging the divide between rural producers and local consumers, and helping local schools thrive, among other initiatives. Their efforts are optimistic and reflect a commitment to the potential of rural communities.
