Unboxing the Alpine A110 – the new Porsche Cayman rival | Geneva Motor Show 2017 | Autocar

The Alpine A110 is back. And unless you’re pretty grey bearded there’s every chance you won’t remember the first time it was around.

But the Renault-owned sports car maker Alpine has returned, and its A110 is spiritually close to its famous predecessor.

The A110 is a small, lightweight two seat sports car with a 1.8-litre engine making 249bhp and driving the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

We talk to Alpine's David Twohig to tell you all you need to know about the A110 here, before we drive the car in the coming months.
