SRB-3地上燃焼試験（Ground Firing Test for New Solid Rocket Booster）

H3ロケットは日本の新しい基幹ロケットです。「柔軟性」、「高信頼性」、「低価格」により徹底したユーザ視点で開発することで「使いやすいロケット」を目指します。JAXAは日本の企業と共に総力を結集して、2020年度の初打ち上げを目指し開発に取り組んでいます。メインエンジンだけではなく、固体ロケットブースタ（SRB-3）も新規開発品で、イプシロンロケットの1段モータと共通化する計画です。開発から製造、運用まで機体や地上システム、製造設備等の様々な基盤技術を相互に活用してシナジー効果の発揮を目指します。2019年8月28日に種子島宇宙センターで実施した試験の様子をご覧ください。
The H3 Launch Vehicle is Japan’s new mainstay rocket with flexibility, high reliability, and great cost performance. Through comprehensive analysis of user needs, we are now building an "easy-to-use rocket." Developed in cooperation with Japanese manufacturers, the H3 is to have its first launch in 2020. Not just the main engine but also a new solid rocket booster (SRB-3) is being developed so as to be shared with the first stage motor of the Epsilon Launch Vehicle. Through all the phases of development, production and operation, we will employ the basic technologies shared by the two launch vehicles for parts and components in airframes, ground systems and production equipment to maximize the synergies.
