Camp Zama is a U.S. base located in Kanagawa Prefecture, and the JGSDF Camp Zama is also located on the premises. Camp Zama on the U.S. side is home to the U.S. Army Garrison Japan, which is in charge of providing logistical support and managing all of the facilities used by the U.S. Army in Japan. The U.S. Army in Zama and JGSDF are involved with active grassroots exchanges involving local residents including various events held throughout the year.
