The i30N Performance is Hyundai's first proper attempt at a hot hatch. With 271bhp it doesn't have the raw power of a Ford Focus RS or Honda Civic Type R, but it does boast some very trick chassis tuning.
To find out if it's a match for the best in class we took it to the most challenging circuit in the UK, Cadwell Park. Having been developed on the Nurburgring the i30N Performance should be right at home on Cadwell Park's tight turns and tumbling gradients.
