先進光学衛星「だいち3号」（ALOS-3）は、陸域観測技術衛星「だいち」（ALOS）（2006～2011年）の光学ミッションを引き継ぐ地球観測衛星です。「だいち」と比べ大型化・高性能化したセンサを搭載することにより、「だいち」の広い観測幅（直下70km）を維持しつつ、さらに高い地上分解能（直下0.8m）を実現します。この動画では、「だいち3号」の仕様やミッションについてご紹介します。

Advanced Land Observing Satellite-3 “DAICHI-3” (ALOS-3) is a successor of the optical mission of Advanced Land Observation Satellite (ALOS)(2006-2011). The sensor onboard ALOS-3 is designed for an improved ground resolution (0.8 m) and wide-swath (70 km) simultaneously by expanding the size and upgrading performance compared to that of ALOS.In this video, we introduce the characteristics and missions of ALOS-3.
